Kits Our mushroom kits are composed of sawdust and supplements to promote vigorous growth of the mycelium and mushroom fruit bodies. These are full-size blocks, weighing in at 6-7 pounds at inoculation, while other suppliers are selling blocks weighing much less for the same price or more. Watch with wonder as the mycelium colonizes and consumes the substrate, and then as if by magic, mushrooms appear! Some of the species currently available are Stropharia rugosoannulata, various strains of the Oyster mushroom, Shiitake, Hericium erinaceus, Ganoderma lucidum, Coprinus comatus, and Agrocybe aegerita.
